Indoor Sow (recommended): 8-10 weeks before the last heavy frost using a seed starting kit, spread seeds over surface & spray with water to help them settle into the soil. Cover with plastic wrap & keep under a regular fluorescent light with temps around 70F until germination occurs. Keep light source about 4-6 inches from tops of plants, adjusting as they grow taller. Once sprouted, remove the plastic & set in a cooler spot (65F Days & 55F nights), keep under the light source for 16 hours a day. When seedlings have 3 true sets of leaves (and after danger of frost has passed) you can begin to harden-off the plants for up to a week before transplanting outside.
