This is an elegant silver plate serving tray, butler's tray, elegant desk accessory or vanity tray. It is large, 17 1/2" handle tip to handle tip by 14 1/2" across. The underside is marked 'Webster Wilcox Oneida USA'. It is embellished with leafy flourishes & cross-hatchings surrounding a central medallion. There is no monogram. It weighs 3lbs 2 oz. & what do you do with a tray like this? There are dozens of uses: It could corral your perfume bottles on a vanity. It can serve as the grounding element for a group of interesting objects in the living room. It could hold your coffee service. It could carry dessert for 4 or 5 & provide stage presence while doing it. It could hold the assortment of necessities that accumulate on a desk or credenza.
