Pair of American of Martinsville Mid Century Aluminum X Inlaid Walnut Side End Table - Merton Gershun Nice pair of mid-century end tables made by American of Martinsville. These two tier tables are in good vintage condition with only minor issues. Each end table has one dovetail drawer that opens & closes easily. 4 beautiful tapered legs that screw on or off (they will be shipped with legs screwed off). I picked these up at an estate sale, & the tables (but not the legs) had been painted white with the drawers painted blue. You cannot see the aluminum X's in the picture, but they are there. If I had the time, I would strip the paint & re-store it to its original finish. There are some minor nicks, dings, & scratches, & the back end of one table has a couple of spots where the wood is slightly split. Please zoom all pics for measurements & full detail.
