I, Beau Smith, have been professionally building & selling copper frog sculptures for over thirty years. My work is in many public places, including botanical gardens (such as The Atlanta Botanical Gardens in Atlanta, Georgia), parks, museums & downtown areas. As well it is collected across the US as well as globally. All my work truly is handmade. I shape copper sheet, reinforce with stainless steel when applicable, & weld - or rather, braze, as it is termed - with bronze rod. I have been doing this work much of my life. It truly is a craft.
