Made to the exact 1957 standard from the origins of the Eisenhower interstate highway system. this design was supplanted by the modern shield style - often with the state name omitted! - in 1971, & it gets harder & harder to find the original-style interstate route markers in many states. This sign is flat printed on heavy gauge steel, with completely accurate layout & fonts. It is available in three sizes: 18x18, 24x24 & 36x36 inches - the three sizes specified in the original 1957 signage manual. it is a non-reflective sign - perfect for ordinary display, indoors or outdoors. (if you would like a different size version,please ask as I can certainly make one!) Accept no imitations that may be one-third this price, but are one-tenth the quality.
