A fed baby is a happy baby. This vintage, transfer ware, made by C.T. Altwasser of Silesia is a baby breakfast dish set is from the 1920s & in perfect condition (see photos). This set features a saucer, cup, & pitcher. The perfect morning porage The C.T. Altwasser Company was founded in 1845 by Carl Tielsch, it quickly became a popular china factory. The company was in the Silesia region of Central & Eastern Europe, now Poland. Each piece in the set has a painted scene of babies & children playing. (see the Photos). The Altwasser logo is stamped on the bottom of each item, it features a bird over the words, "C.T. Altwasser Silesia". This set would look great on a shelf a nursery, in a kitchen display, or in part of a vintage collection. The dish has two scenes of a baby playing with a dog on one edge & a baby playing with two cats on the opposite edge. The mug has an image of a baby crawling. On the small pitcher there's a scene of two children playing with a baby & two cats are at their feet. On the other side there is a baby with a sweet by a parrot, chicken, & dog. All of these images use a variety of beautiful colors, reds & blues being the most common.
