exceptionally rare & all original oversized early 20th century filing drawer freestanding cabinet designed & fabricated by the woodruff mfg. company, washington, dc. the quartered oak tall & narrow cabinet is finished on three sides. the original varnished finish is in great condition considering age. the drawers, knob pulls & label or placard holders are original & intact. the cabinet contains a lightly incised brass inventory plaque on top right corner. the cabinet was salvaged long ago from chicago's city hall.
