That will be enough to encourage some new root growth. Succulents are drought - tolerant plants & they prefer to be grown in well-drained soil. Be sure to provide sufficient light to them. We try our best to provide accurate descriptions. However, please understand that each plant is different, their sizes will change during transportation. Please keep that in mind before you purchase.
