I've made a lot of things over the years but these little play sets that I'm working on now have a special place in my heart. The hand-painted people are nostalgic for many of us because they take us back to where we truly felt the magic of childhood through these little European-style wooden people. I wanted to recreate that for today's children; to encourage pretend play, creativity, & childhood imagination & magic. But I also wanted to do it in a parent-friendly way, which is why I included a darling little themed tin (decorated with arctic style designs - this may vary according to availability!) to keep these precious penguins in when they're not in use. The tin is as durable as it is cute, & can be tossed in a handbag or packed in a backpack & brought out during long doctor's waiting room visits or car/plane rides, for quiet moments visiting at a relative's house, or a wholesome activity to engage in at a restaurant while the adults are chatting. This particular set contains 7 hand-painted, detailed wooden penguin (4) & ice block (3) figures. The tin is about 4" long, 2.5" wide, & an inch deep. It is my hope that this set will bring your child joy as he/she uses his/her imagination & creates lasting memories with this group of little cuties. Due to choking hazard, these are not intended for children under 3 years of age. Please supervise kids closely to be sure small parts do not end up in their mouth. Because these are made from natural wood, they may have small grooves or pitting due to the organic nature of the wood itself. This is normal!
