Great gift to brighten up a window. This blue glass suncatcher sparkles brilliantly in the sun. It features an 7 inch cobalt blue Duralex plate from France. Textured blue glass surrounds the center & an outer edge of beveled glass also reflects light in special ways. The total piece is 9 inches square. It is hand-soldered together & has zinc strips on the outer edge to increase the strength of the piece. Two hanging loops are soldered in place at the top. These sun catchers are made in my home glass studio. I determine to use some recycled, reclaimed, repurposed item in each piece that I create.
