antique nativity set paper mache creche holy family statue figures - 1968 kurt adler - made in taiwan. 7 piece set, made in taiwan, 1968, kurt adler model. these are paper mache figures with gold foil paint, composite painted hands & faces. the tallest king is 12 inches, i see no problems. the next king is 11 1/2 inches & missing a staff for left hand. the third king is 9 1/2 inches tall, joseph is 8 1/2 inches tall, small hairline on right hand from glue repair very minor. so there can be small glue repairs at various joints since this is mache. mary is 9 inches tall, i see no problems. these 5 figures all have about a 6 1/2 inch base, they are fairly heavy with composite bodies & paper mache work, some have original stickers on bottom that say , made in taiwan for easy research & dating. the manger is more ceramic & covered with paper & paint, measures 6 inches by 4 1/4 & is 2 3/4 inches tall. jesus is 4 inches long & 3 inches across from hand to hand, has small chip on right hand & glued on left arm. these can be painted over. this is an old set, very unique & good looking.
