He worked with gemstones like jade, & was known for quality craftsmanship. His pieces are collectable & still fashionable today. The necklace comprised of graduated jadeite jade beads & beautifully hand carved & pierced jadeite jade plaque with convenient front push-in clasp built into gold frame. The plaque is 42 mm wide 22 mm high. The beads range from 9 mm to 4.5 mm. The necklace is 16 inches around neck. The push-in clasp stamped 14K & WL in block letters as it was on early Walter Lampl jewelry. Total weight is 32 grams. Excellent antique condition.
