Antique English Arts & Crafts Aesthetic Bronze Brass Trivet. Have 2 pictured quantity but prices are just for one Trivet & lion hook. These look bronze but could be brass & are nonmagnetic, but the iron bottom cloth wrapped frame is magnetic. Bottoms are cloth wrapped so can be used as trivets or plaques. These are an unusual find. The old felt wrap wearing. Plaques came with vintage lion head hanging hooks numbered 106, these look brass with copper wash & nonmagnetic. Each Trivet measure 5 1/4" wide x 4" tall & with the attached top hook design 5 3/4" tall. Add another 1 5/8" in height if counting the lion removable hooks. Weight nice at little over 9 oz each. These have a primitive look & casting, 2 lions protection & castle or structure. Both have tarnishing, scratches, scuffs, verdigris, dings, imperfections from casting process, nice Patina & still look great!! Guessing made late 1800's early 1900's. Cool Old Metalware!!
