Description
A nice early cast bowl made by the Blenko Glass Company in Milton, West Virginia. This piece is shape number 6112-S as offered in the 1961-1963 Blenko catalogs & was made by Wayne Husted. It has the rich cobalt blue coloration & a thick cast starburst design seen on the rim & underside. The entire bowl was cast in a mold with the underside have some texture while the top surface is mostly smooth. This massive bowl measures 10" wide by 2" tall at the rim. It is in nice original condition & has been well cared for over the years. It's beautiful & would look great on your mid century coffee table or credenza.
