Modernist desk lamp made in the 1940's by Jumo, an important lamp making company from France who used the best designers of their time. Jumo is know primarily for the Bolidus lamp & the Raymond Loewy desk lamp, but they produced some of the most amazing & innovative lamps up to the 1970's. The articulation is made so you can turn on a wide angle the different parts without stressing the wire, insuring a safe use. The quality stands beautifully in comparison to the new productions of today; the metal has a warmth that mass produced copies cannot duplicate. This model number #610, an early piece from the 1940's, as indicated by its articulation. Size H.22 inches.
