Annual. Full sun preferred. This variety is highly ornamental & adds visual interest all stages. Lovely spires in a mix of colors on dark purple hued stems. Shades of purple, lilac, rose, pink & yellow. Seed can be started indoors in a controlled environment. Sow 8 weeks before your regions last frost date. Light is required to germinate. Press seed into soil & then use caution when watering as not to disturb or cover seed. Mist lightly or bottom watering is ideal. Seed germination will occur when soil temperatures of 70o. Once established plants can grow in temps of 55o-60o outdoors. Ensure plants are hardened off before transplanting outside once all danger of frost has passed for your region. For direct sowing plant out at similar depth as noted above. Ensure all frost for your region has passed.
