Correspond in style with this gothic letterhead featuring a reproduction of an illuminated manuscript. This folio by the Limbourg brothers (1402-1416) depicts Raymond Diocrès' unusual demise & subsequent resurrection. The story goes that at his funeral Diocrès (a professor of the Sorbonne University of Paris) returned to life, in order to swear to the huge crowd that had assembled that God had judged & condemned his soul. The irony, of course, is that Diocrès was celebrated for his virtue while he lived. The letterhead is printed on ivory parchment paper which has a distinctive & luxurious finish. Envelopes are made from cotton & have a linen texture. PERSONALIZATION OPTIONS This set can be personalized with your name, address, & monogram. Typeface: Choose your typeface (Design shown in product photos uses Enchanted Land). I will use my best judgment to lay out your credentials with your chosen typeface. Some typefaces don't work in all caps, etc. If you would like another typeface or some other customization, send me a message. Additional charges may apply. Name/Address: Enter in your name/street address as you'd like it to appear on the envelope and/or letterhead. Please double check your spelling as I will copy & paste what you enter in. Monogram: The letterhead will be monogrammed with the first letter of your last name. The monogram letters are taken from a Medieval set of drop caps & will not match the typeface you choose. Ruled/Unruled: Select the "Ruled" option if you want lined letterhead & Unruled if you don't want lines.
