Modernist Mexican Silver & Turquoise Pendant, Wavy Silver Pendant with Bezel Set Turquoise, Zihuatanejo Sterling Pendant, Signed Zihuatanejo The pendant measures approximately .75 x 3.25 inches. The pendant is marked "925" & "Zihuatanejo" on the reverse side. This is a very unique & modern sterling turquoise pendant. The piece definitely looks like an artisan pendant. The bail is very generous & is like a tube. From the tube bail hangs a wavy piece if silver. On one side of the silver is a an oval piece of turquoise in a bezel set. The reverse side has the name of the city Zihuatanejo written vertically down the pendant. Zihuatanejo is a resort city on Mexico's Pacific Coast, northwest of Acapulco. It's known for its beaches, like the sweeping Playa La Ropa, which is backed by palm trees. This unique pendant was possibly an artisan souvenir from the resort city.
