This vintage glass trinket dish was made by L. E. Smith sometime in the 1930s. The pattern used was called 'Mount Pleasant' & L. E. Smith officially catalogued the item as a "bon bon dish". The glass color was a proprietary violet-tinted black called Black Amethyst. The dish has some scratches from use, but is generally in good condition.
