I painted my door red a few years ago. After painting it I decided to look up & see if a red door carried any meaning. One of the meanings was back in the day when others traveled by foot & saw a red door it signified it was a safe & welcoming place for a weary traveler. As soon as I read the description, I thought of Christ & how He had been that for me. & also, how as Christians we are to be that for others. & then it got me thinking of all the "Red Door People" I have had in my life who have been a safe place for me.
