Description

A nice early stoneware pottery vase made by Northwest potter & artist David Keyes. This piece was likely made in the late 1960's era during the era when David ran the Ceramics department at Pacific Lutheran University in Tacoma, WA. This date predates the unique funk pottery style pottery wares made by David at his Tacoma Art Pottery. (TAP) This stoneware vase has good thickness & is hand thrown & decorated. It measures 9.125" tall by 7" wide & it has good weight to it. The freeform circular brown decoration is hand painted on the surface on two sides. The underside is signed Keyes in ink. It is in nice original condition.
