These unique tiles have a special rustic folk-art appeal that is due to the hand making process of these tiles, each piece is unique & may vary in shape or size they measure approximately 4" x 4" & about 1/4" thick. These tiles are individually hand-painted in Mexico & fired in wood kilns in the traditional method so please understand, slight variations in color & crazing are a normal part of their charm. These characteristics are completely normal & also very desirable in Talavera tiles. This is what makes these tiles so lovely & unique because they are handcrafted & each one is a unique piece of art.
