Joined Ceramic Bowls With Lid, Dark Turquoise & Gray Pottery Bowl Set, Chip & Dip Bowls These joined bowls are perfect for serving dips, chips, fries or anything else you may like to treat your guests to. in the open bowl you can serve snacks & in the lidded one a hot sauce, dip or fondue treat. The lid will keep the sauce warm while you eat. I made two white sets like these, one of which is for E who wants to serve apples & honey at her dinner table on the Jewish New Year. If all goes well the other set will be up for sale in a week or so. This bowl set is made from a gray spotted clay & glazed with my dark turquoise glaze. A thinner layer of glaze on the rims & curves of the bowls have left dark contrasting lines creating an interesting & truly unique item. As you can see in several images, I have made other bowls from the same clay & glaze. You can see them in more detail in the links below. My bowls are handmade by me on the potter's wheel. This item is made from ceramic stoneware & is fired to a temperature of 1200 degrees celsius (2192 Fahrenheit). It is glazed with lead-free & food safe glazes & is ideal for use in the oven & microwave but not over an open flame. It is dishwasher safe. If the item is out of stock, I can make another one, but the new item may vary slightly in size. That's the beauty of handmade objects.
