An impressive example of the early Miriam Haskell - a huge faux Baroque pendant with the traditional signed Miriam Haskell brass stamped plaque on the back. There is some verdigris present on the brass but otherwise, the pendant is in a good pre-owned vintage condition & will be a real investment to any vintage collection. Comes with a complimentary herringbone gold chain. Miriam Haskell established her Miriam Haskell Company in New York City in 1926. Haskell loved gilt findings & filigree, faux pearls, Austrian crystal beads, blown glass beads from the island of Murano, and, above all, rose montées. Some stars who loved Haskell jewelry included Lucille Ball, who wore Haskell pieces on her TV show. Joan Crawford was another loyal customer. She collected Haskells from the late 1930s through the 1960s. Vintage necklaces, especially with faux pearls, are among her most sought-after works. Condition of the items Since I sell vintage jewelry & therefore it is usually pre-owned & in 90% might show signs of age & wear. I try my best to point out any defects & to comment on my interpretation of the quality & condition. My idea of quality may not be the same as a buyer's. International tracking When ordering/shipping internationally, I assume the buyer is aware of the possible risks. Once the parcel leaves the US borders, unfortunately, I can no longer be held responsible for its destination/tracking. If the receiving country does not enter the customs tracking number into their delivery system, there is no way to make a case for a lost item.
