ENRO Condon's (Charleston, SC) 55% Cotton, 45% Polyester Large, labeled 'L/G' Large' (please rely on measurements) 1980's I'm not saying this is 'New Old Stock', but I'm not saying it isn't. Part of a huge lot of deadstock Belk items from the 70's & 80's Classic plaid poplin, long sleeve shirt. Cotton Poly blend, primary colors are Burgundy, Navy Blue, Forest Green & White. Navy Blue stitching with exception of buttons. Gray, faux horn buttons that are hand applied with Gray thread. Condon's was a long time Charleston institution. Opened in 1897, the downtown, King Street store closed in 1984, & the remaining location across the bridge, in West Ashley, closed in 2000. This shirt likely dates to the 80's. ENRO a Louisville(KY) based firm founded in 1919, derives it's name from Nathan Rosenblum...'EN' for the 'N' in Nathan & 'RO' for the first letters of Rosenblum. ENRO had a strong retail presence in the late 60's & 70's...they are still around today, but I believe, most shirts are outsourced & no longer produced in the US of A. This one, made in Bolivia.
