Antique Victorian chromolithograph trade card Hires Beer advertising, "What Came From the Newspaper Hat" story on the back, along with info about the product & company. Circa 1890's (newspaper hat reads November 12, 1890), it measures shy of 5" x 3 1/8". The Charles E. Hires, Donaldson Bros. N.Y., D. Shepard Apothecary, West Haven, Conn. Card is in vintage condition, good, though has a small tear at bottom (4th photo shows), please see all photos. Offbeat Avenue uses recycled packaging when available.
