These wonderful earrings were created by Robert Nillson, a Sebastian, FL jeweler who has created sterling silver & gemstone jewelry with a Scandinavian flair since the late 1980s. The earrings are comprised of sterling silver, malachite stone & white pearls. They feature silver ear wires at the tops that hold beautiful diamond-shaped dangles with large green malachite stone cabochons in the centers. The contrasting dark & light green bands of the malachite stones run in an eye-catching, vertical direction on both of the cabochons. Lovely etched designs project out from each side of the cabochons, adding a fabulous accent & great visual interest. As a finishing touch, pretty white pearls hang down from unique hooks on the bottom backs of both dangles. They are beautiful! The earrings measure approximately 2 inches long, 1 inch wide & weigh 8.3 grams. The malachite cabochons measure about 10mm by 12mm in size each. The earrings are signed & hallmarked with the word "Sterling ", with a three crowns symbol (which is the Robert Nillson trademark), & with the word "Nillson" in a half circle on the backs of both earring dangles. The ear wires are also hallmarked "925". I love the rich green color & unique design of the gorgeous earrings! They would make a great addition to a sterling silver jewelry collection or an excellent gift! They are in excellent vintage condition & ready to wear or to gift!
