Flint Glass/Early American Pressed Glass master salt by an unknown maker, Flattened Sawtooth (a/k/a) c 1850s. Absolutely fantastic very early piece by an unknown maker. This master salt measures 2 1/2" tall. The a/k/a was given to this piece by Ruth Webb Lee in her book "Early American Pressed Glass". This piece has few if any chips or signs of any damage. There is minor roughness along the rim of the salt. This is the master salt is in the nicest condition I have seen & will be a great addition to any collection.
