Description

British Farthing Set, Wren, 1937 to 1956, Complete Set of 20 Coins The farthing is a historical British coin, manufactured for centuries. It has been called a number of names in history, a 'feorthing' or a forthing' being a one quarter of a penny or a 1/960th of a pound sterling. It also was nicknames a 'mag' by the British. These are the wren type that succeeded the seated Britannia style (see my other listings) that began production in 1937 & ceased being produced after 1956 & was withdrawn from circulation in 1961. This is a complete set of every year from 1937 to 1956 (20 coins). You'll get the set pictured, they are circulated, but includes some nice red examples. & includes the rare 1956 Any questions, just ask.
