The felted bird pair - Yellow-shouldered Blackbirds - symbol of the Puerto Rico archipelago-Faux Taxidermy, Lifelike bird figure, Home Décor. The Yellow-shouldered Blackbird (Agelaius xanthomus), also known as La Mariquita de Puerto Rico or Capitan, is a diurnal blackbird endemic to the archipelago of Puerto Rico, occurs in Puerto Rico & Mona Island, near western Puerto Rico; & evaluated as Endangered species, due to restricted range & various threats. The species engages in mobbing, a behavior in which a pack of birds, from one or more species, attack a known predator (usually to defend eggs or hatchlings). More information about this bird, & even to hear its voice, you can to follow this link - https://uk.inaturalist.org/taxa/9764-Agelaius-xanthomus The toy is made of natural merino tender wool. Mixed techniques. The size of the toy bird "as in nature" is length about 20 to 23 cm (8 to 9 inches). I am working on creation of more species of birds, so you can to be first who knows about updating.
