It's previous owner had a tea room business & used it for small cakes served with tea. The workmanship is wonderful: hammered, hand-wrought with roses. The basket has a gorgeous, ruffled rim. Even the handle is decorated with flowers! This masterfully-crafted basket measures approximately 5.5" tall, including the handle which remains in an upright position, by approximately 7" in diameter. It is in fine, vintage condition with only some minor, age-related wear to the finish. It's a real beauty!
