Most stones are natural, no stabilization or color added, they may be backed for additional support in your jewelry. These cabochons were cut & polished by Gerard from Rough material that we purchased as part of a entire lapidary silversmithing operation. We bought out an old silversmith from Safford, Arizona. He had lots of old stock natural turquoise from various mines. He had most of his turquoise inventory labeled as to the source mines. So the representations made here are from his records, which we have no reason to question, but unless you actually mine a stone yourself the source could be questionable.
