One of our most popular styles! These bases are great for those tops that need a bit of extra support like wood or for fragile tops that need center support like glass or stone. Outer holes are oversized to allow for wood movement if using a wood top. We recommend using glue on bumpers if the base will be supporting a glass top (bumpers not included). I can leave the top without mounting holes if preferred, just contact me so I can build to suit (I will need to drill two very small holes in order to suspend the base in our powder coating oven). Steel is 2.5 x 1/4 steel, sourced locally, made in America. Width selections are for the top of the table base, measured diagoally. (The bottom of the base will be 2-4" narrower than the top, depending on height) The height selections are for the height of your base (please don't forget to add in the thickness of your table top as you calculate the finished height of your table). The included screws are 1.25" long hex head lags, so if your preferred top is less than 1.25" thick, please do not use the screws we supply. Top is not included.
