Wheeler Peaches were cultivated extensively in USDA trial orchards & finally perfected by the US Department Of Agriculture in 1906. This beautiful 6" x 9" lithograph illustration from that same year shows 1 1/2 Beautiful Wheeler Peaches in their actual size. This sweet botanical illustration is just one of several harvested from a collection of simple & delightful USDA litho illustrations from the turn of the century; the colors are still lively & bright over 100 years later.
