A very special 5-piece set of hand-marbled paper in red, blue, gray, brown, & rust. These are marbled on manila card stock. Each 5-piece set totals approximately 180 square inches, The largest piece being approximately 8.5 x 5.5". There are 4 very similar sets, & yours will be one of those pictured. Photo #1 shows all four sets. The last photo shows the backsides. Use marbled paper in any project for which you'd use decorated paper. Bookmarks, note cards, origami, scrap booking, jewelry & box making, etc. Cut into small pieces, it makes delicious JOURNAL embellishments. Artists use marbled paper in colláge work. Marbling is done by floating dye or paint on the surface of fluid in a tank, & lowering a sheet of paper or fabric from above, making a unique, one-of-a-kind contact print. Tools may also be used to arrange the color into patterns before the print is made. Only one print can be made from each painted design. Each piece is completely original, & there is no mass production, photography or digital treatment involved. All of my marbled products are made here in the Marbling Supplies Studio, in Northern Michigan USA by me, Heidi Reichenbach FInley.
