These matching animal cell earrings are so much fun! They feature the key elements of the cell as studied in junior high & high school biology, from mitochondria & rhibosomes, to lysosomes & Golgi apparatus. Polymer clay is a lightweight, flexible & durable material that will look great for a lifetime with proper care. Dropping, bending, bathing or sleeping with earrings may cause damage. To clean simply use a damp cloth & store away from other jewelry to avoid scratches. These were created as a small batch & there may be very minor variations among individual pieces. Only 0.6% of people are allergic to titanium, so it is safe for even the most sensitive ears. Unlike cheaper metals labelled "hypoallergenic," these are unalloyed pure titanium, nickel-free, & have no trace of irritating metals. Posts are buried in the stud using liquid polymer clay & re-baked for maximum comfort. BACKS: Backs are made of clear silicone. I do not use any metal butterflies due to metal sensitivities, as even those labelled hypoallergenic cause reactions for a lot of people. Two sets of clear silicone backs are included to ensure there is an extra set if one goes missing.
