DESCRIPTION Vegetable protein deodorant uses a natural vegan approach to fight odor. Vegetable proteins neutralize the enzymes that cause odor to a simple salt. This is a great alternative to commercial brands that contain aluminum & bactericides. My deodorant is a solid gelled stick that glides on easily & is packaged in a twist up tube. 97% all-natural. There is no antiperspirant in this deodorant, so you may note sweating, which is the body's natural way of getting rid of harmful toxins & cooling itself. Most people claim a decrease in sweating after a few days as your body chemistry gets used to natural deodorants. This is an effective & natural alternative to commercial deodorants. It is worth noting that some customers claim a mild sting when using, especially directly after a hot shower when pores are open & after shaving which leads to microscopic cuts at times. This product contains Salicylic Acid, & this is typically the culprit. Also, scents that contain spices such as cinnamon or clove could lead to irritation in those with sensitive skin.
