I really don't know who this early Mouse character is-any input would be appreciated. All I know is that he is NOT Mickey Mouse. This incredibly graphic looking toy is a somewhat of a perpetual motion toy in that once you move him out of the groove on the end & spin him he will summersault all the way down to the other end. The rods measure 5 3/4" tall by 15" long & the entire base is painted wood. The mouse figure measures 7 3/4" tall. There is some age darkening/staining on the painted wood frame to be expected with a 100 year old toy. Dates to the early 20th Century.
