Antique Cast Iron Star Masonry Architecture Rustic Decor western decor. This is a large 8 inch by 8 inch by 1/2 inch thick antique masonry star washer dating from the late 1800s to early 1900s. It may have come from Mexico as someone has written Mexico on the back in black marker. It has some pitting of the metal & slight rust as would be expected of something this old that has seen years of weather. Traditionally used in mason work as bolt washers & architectural decoration, they have endless crafting decorating uses. Great in rustic cabin, country kitchen, western, southwest, Americana decor as well as outdoor decorating. Could be used as candle stick holders, paper weights, wall decor, garden gate accents, or string it on a rope & use as a boat anchor. LOL just kidding but the possibility's are endless.
