Want to make your own Ribbon Blanket but don't want to spend TONS of to buy a bunch of different ribbons? This listing is for you! How many ribbons do you need? I have made & sold over 5,000 ribbon blankets & have found this many ribbons to accommodate the following sizes. I also add a few extra ribbons because I double over some of the ribbons on my blankets for more variety & texture (see listing photos). 4.5 inch square: 20 ribbons (10 sets) 7.5 inch square: 30 ribbons (15 sets) 10 inch square: 40 ribbons (20 sets) 12 inch square: 50 ribbons (25 sets) 16 inch square: 60 ribbons (30 sets) The blankets look the best when the ribbons have a running pattern to them (see listing photos). To accommodate this the ribbons are sent in sets of 2. Ribbons are approximately 4 to 4.5 inches long & 1/4 to over 2" wide. They will include Satin, Grosgrain, Woven, & Cotton varieties. If you would like more than 5 sets of the same color ribbon you will most likely receive duplicates of some of the same ribbons.
