Description
Hemerocallis Chicago Apache daylilies are a very vigorous grower with healthy foliage & sturdy scapes. They have intense scarlet red, recurved tepals with a small sulphur yellow watermark & green throat, petals have loosely ruffled edges; sepal edges are slightly crimped. Daylilies can survive many harsh conditions that other plants cannot including: polluted city environments, slopes, poor & dry soils, near pavement that is salted in winter, & under black walnut trees. This plant is rabbit resistant, attracts butterflies & hummingbirds, also bee friendly & easy to grow! Blooms midseason from June through August. Growing to be 28 inches tall & 20 inches wide, daylilies are prized for their ease of growing, heat & drought tolerance, & their stunning blooms. Plants come in one gallon containers.
