Description
Sweet '50s/'60s Jack Winter Bahama Cloth high waisted, side-zip shorts in okay vintage condition. Signs of heavy wear & washing. This fabric is really similar to a loosely woven linen, & you can see in the pictures that there's quite a bit of wear & snagging, particularly down the left, front side running parallel to the side zipper. Otherwise no major flaws to note. Tags read: Jack Winter, Bahama Cloth, Textured Look & Feel, Comfortable to Wear, Hand Washable. Fabric contents aren't present, but these really feel like an all cotton weave with a thin, lightweight all-cotton lining. 6.5 inch Talon zipper closure with a button at the waistband on the left side. Thin waistband, side slit pocket at the right hip, & great shaping darts in front & back. Color is best represented in the photos of the shorts on the hanger, they're a perfectly lavender. The color was washed out a bit in the bright sun when I laid them down to snap detailed photos. Measurements laying flat are approximately: Waist: 11 inches, with no stretch in the fabric, 22 inches around the waist. Rise: 14 inches, measured from the crotch to the top of the waistband. Hips: 20 inches, up to 40 inches around the hips. Inseam: 6 inches. Total Length: 18 inches long.
