Vintage Woven Woolen Textile Panel from Finland. This incredible Finnish Wool Textile was handmade by Finnish Textile artist Tomi Jokinen in the late 1970's. It is labelled Aino Pirtti, karjalainen kasityo. It is an amazing double woven wool panel, it has an open section along the top portion to accommodate some form of rod to hang. The colors of this piece are emerald green, cream & sage or taupe & the pattern is an abstract stripe with starbursts or snowflake. This beautiful textile measures approximately 23"x 56" inches not including the 7" inch fringe. It could be wonderful as a scarf, single door panel or wall hanging, the nature of its weave allows it to be somewhat reversible. An awesome piece if textile art.
