Made to the exact standards as used from 1947 to the early 1950s by the California Department of Public Works, Division of Highways. this figure appears only on one state highway in California: the old route 190 going up into the mountains from the Owens Valley along Horseshoe Meadows Road. this pass would've topped out at about 11,400 feet but was never completed. (if you would like a different number of feet of elevation, please inquire!) The sign is available in two sizes: the original 36 x 18 inch size, & a 24 x 12 inch rescaling for more wieldy display. It is constructed out of durable, heavy steel, for an appearance that is nearly indistinguishable from the old porcelain signs that were originally used back in the day. This is a high quality, heavy steel sign. Accept no imitations that may be one-third this price, but are one-tenth the quality.
