Looking to give your home that chic 1879 world hemispheres map but you don't have the budget for the upscale decor store? Well, now you can with our adaptation of the 1879 Gray's Atlas map (which we own copy of). The map also features a comparison of world rivers & mountains. We have five sizes available: 24 x 16" 30 x 20" 36 x 24" 45 x 30" 54 x 36" The two smallest sizes work best as decor pieces where wall space is at a premium, while the largest two sizes are intended to deliver a dramatic impact to a room's look. We scanned our copy of the map. Our reprint is available in vintage-aged colors that hew closely to the original map, a light monochrome version, inverted blue, & inverted black version. All four versions will give any room a stately but classic look. We offer you more variety for this reprint than the other stores! However, we strongly recommend measuring your intended wall first, due to the cost of fine art paper & amount of the ink involved we cannot offer refunds or exchanges for the wrong size or wrong color chosen. (We do, however, offer refunds & exchanges for post office damage. Please see our shop policies for more details.) Our reprint is adapted from our copy of the map. We've made some digital corrections where it made sense to, but the original map did have some water damage on the edges & foxing. We aren't able to offer framed/matted prints, but we recommend checking your local art/craft supply store and/or the following websites: www.craigframes.com or framebridge.com. We print on Aurora Fine Art with archival inks. The paper has a nice, slight watercolor paper texture feel to it. Your print comes in a heavy-duty mailing tube via USPS priority mail, so you won't have to wait long.
