The fossil has been split into small pieces & suspended in protective natural resin. The other channels are filled with even older meteorite, the extraterrestrial pieces were found in the Muonionalusta Meteorite field in Sweden where meteorite hunters have traveled from across the world to brave harsh conditions & trek through swamps looking for pieces of this rare otherworldly treasure.
