Made to the exact state standard used from 1975 to the 1990s. This sign was found at all state lines for many years, welcoming people to Wisconsin - it has been supplanted by more modern variants but a few examples still are around, here & there. An original of these is not only very rare to find scrapped, but is a herculean effort to transport; many still enjoy their active service on the highways. So here is your chance to own an excellent display piece, without chancing legal trouble... or a hernia. The sign is flat printed with completely accurate layout & fonts. It is available in six sizes: 15 x 9, 22 1/2 x 13 1/2, 35 x 21, 45 x 27, 70 x 42, or 90 x 54 inches. the state line signs in use in the field are much more colossal - this one is a precise rescaling of the freeway style sign down to a much more manageable size. it is a non-reflective sign - perfect for ordinary display, indoors or outdoors. The 70x42 inch sign is made on two panels, & will be shipped as two 35 by 42 inch halves, with mounting holes along the edges to accommodate a frame for stability. The 90x54 inch sign is made on four panels, & will be shipped as four 45x27 inch panels. This frame manufacture, assembly & mounting process will be left up to the buyer. (If you would like an even bigger sign made of even more panels, let's talk!) This is a high quality, heavy steel sign. Accept no imitations that may be one-third this price, but are one-tenth the quality. No cheap tin to be found here, with the wrong fonts, layouts, size, shape, or any other manner of embarrassing imperfection.
