B3 Wassily chair, design by Marcel Breuer in 1925. Chair designed by Marcel Breuer between 1925 & 1926 when he was head of the Bauhaus cabinetmaking workshop. Breuer made one for Wassily Kandisky's personal office, which is why later when the chair was reissued by the Italian firm Gavina it was known as Wassily. Made of bent & chromed steel tubes & black leather. Manufacture from the 1970s. It shows wear of the chrome & some rust spots on the tubes. The backrest has been repainted in one spot, visible in one of the photographs. Measurements: 72x74x77 cm. Our articles are very varied & their dimensions very different.
