Vintage tea cup & saucer with a pretty floral pattern on white. Small, demitasse cup & saucer. From 1945 to 1952, during the Allied occupation after World War II, exports from Japan were marked "Occupied Japan" or "Made in Occupied Japan." Collectors today search for pieces with this time-specific mark. Made in Occupied Japan, 1946-1952, making this over 70 years old. This piece has no wear or fading, chips or hairlines. No crazing & intact gold trim. in excellent condition. SGK china stamped on the bottom. This is a very delicate, dainty piece & the cup is almost translucent. The saucer has a mark on the bottom which may have been some adhesive. The photos provide the best condition details & close ups. If you still have additional condition questions, just ask.
