Description
This is a vintage, china, fruit-design, cake-plate made in Bavaria, Germany by Z.S. & Co. It is a footed platter & measures 11 inches in diameter. It features what I believe to be a transfer fruit design rather than hand-painted. The still-life picture depicts a large arrangement of green grapes & red, ripe peaches. It is a little unusual as most of these Bavarian platters feature a floral design. This beauty has pierced, double handles & is trimmed in 24KT gold around the edge. I am sure it was used as a cabinet plate as this lovely has not a scratch or any other flaw. Please be sure before purchasing as this item is NOT returnable. (2/22) Bavaria Z.
